Still working on supplements for nov 1. It is hard for me to answer semi-generic questions such as "what inspires you" quickly, even if it is only 35 words.

I did some preliminary reading (ncbi pmc articles) on my topic (neural mechanisms of performance anxiety) mostly to get background information and possibly find a niche I could start with: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4322702/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3684250/ I looked for possible mentors in the department of neuroscience at UT Southwestern, since I could do lab research as part of my thesis, and submitted a mentor request form.
